Hi - It's been a great July 4th weekend. Our daughter came home from NYC, and we had a great time. We went biking on the Delaware River Canal today and ate lunch at Meils in Stockton.
I have started to track my outdoor riding using Google's My Tracks on my Android Incredible phone. So far so good. Here is the link to the first two rides.

The ride on Saturday was in and around where I live. The ride today was along the Canal. Who knows what tomorrow brings.

Sitting in the Drs office
I am sitting in the eye Doctor's office waiting for a laser procedure on my left eye. Hopefully the procedure will help reduce the pressure in the eye. If successful, it may lessen my chance of having glaucoma.
It is a nice day today approximately 60 degrees and sunny.

Daytona Bud Shootout and Facebook
Jeff Gordon ran well in the Bud Shootout on Saturday night and finished 4th overall. The race went into overtime and finished under caution because of a multi-car accident during the final lap of the dreaded green-white-checker finish. Gordon did pretty well. He was second during the restart but got shuffled back to the back of the pack with only 1/2 lap to go. He finished strong and barely missed the accident. He did okay during the time trials today and qualified 9th fastest. There were a lot of fast times and should make for exciting racing come Thursday (Twin 125s) and Sunday.
I was on Facebook today and posted 25 Random Things about me. I was able to put a plug in for the Johari Window that I learned about in a leadership class at work this past week. By opening myself up to others, I am increasing the amount of information known about me to others.
I also think I may be in the initial stages of planning a vacation with my children for next Spring. Road Trip to FL for baseball Spring Training.

Christmas Vacation
I got a new locomotive (with sound) and a DCC control system (Digitrax) for Christmas. I started putting my new HO train layout together; however, I need a couple of additional track pieces, and I'm not sure how the two Snap Switches fit together. There doesn't seem to be enough room. Oh well, I'll stop by the Big Little RR Shop (http://biglittle.com/) tomorrow and buy the additional track. Hopefully, they can give me some hints about how the Snap Switches should fit together. If you visit their site, be sure to check out the blog (http://biglittlerr.blogspot.com/). I'll start taking some pictures so you can see the progress of my layout.

Thanksgiving 2007
Well, I am getting grief from my family that I have a blog. I think they must be jealous, I don't know. My Dad has been visiting this week from NC and returns home on Saturday. Emily has been home a week, and has spent more time in NYC than she has in NJ. It is good having her home. We miss her when she is not here.
The last two days, she has tried to tell us that Thanksgiving is only the 12th best holiday. Unfortunately, a number of the higher ranked holidays are not true holidays, e.g. birthday, Valentine's Day, Halloween, etc. It was so sad that we had to burst her bubble, but such is life.
Alice fixed a great meal today: Turkey, Dressing, Cranberry relish, Sweet Potato Casserole with Marshmellow, Green Beans, Rice, Jello Salad, Rolls, and Pumpkin Pie. I am still full!
